The Cambridge eleven were beaten at Cambridge yesterday by a far from represen tative eleven of the Marylebone club. The ground after the heavy rains was all against run-getting, and thirty wickets only realised 151, to which the Cambridge Captain’s first score of 20 was the highest contribution. Marylebone, when they went in a second time, had 76—double their first total—to get to win, and through the good play of Barnos and Scotton these were easily got with eight wickets in hand.
