W. Wilks) oc cupied the chair, and there was a good attendance. The club since last season has, through the kindness of its president, been successful in obtaining a new ground, which will in every way meet the wants of its members and be a great boon to the players, After revising and making new rules the following were elected officers:—President, Rev, W. W ilks; Treasurer, M. Hodgson, E sq.; Auditor, L. W. Lamotte, Esq. ; Cap tain, J. F. Burgess, E sq.; Sub-captain, Mr. Wickham ; Committee, Messrs. Joliffe, Auld, Cobbett, Lover, Reader, and Creasy ; Hon. Sec., Mr. Norman. A cordial vote of thanks to the chairman concluded the meeting.
