Some promising form was shown in this match, begun at Cambridge last Friday and finished on the following day. 4In all 718 runs were scored for 27 wickets. To this the principal contributors were Greatorex, the Harrovian, Brutton, of Durham School, Porter, of Marlborough, Hon. C. M. Knatchbull-Hugessen and F.
