E. Bastard, the Oxford slow bowler of 1883, delivered eighteen balls for three runs and five wickets. H. V. Page, another of the University team of last year, fifteen balls for three runs and four wickets. In their second innings Worcester made 80 for eight wickets. W. W. Read, Abel, C. G. Fox, Banks, Shacklock, Jones, and Barratt, did not bat. I n a match between the Bulwell and Car rington Clubs at Bulwell on Saturday, G. Harrison took three of the Carrington wickets with successive balls. E William son obtained four of their wickets without a run being made off him.
