Leslie reached Brindisi on tlie P. and 0 . steamer “ Tangore ” on Saturday, and travelling overland tlie tliree first named got to Lon don on Monday night. Mr. Studd paid a visit to Lord’s on the following morning, and Mr. Read, I am given to understand, will make his firit appearance at the Oval to-day, when he will captain the Young Players of Surrey against Croydon and District. Mr. A. G. Steel, who left the party just returned home at Colombo, will not be hack yet awhile, and Hon. Ivo Bligh, G. F.Vernon and G. B.
