Cricket 1883

MAY 10, 1833. CRICKET ; A WEEKLY RECORD OP THE GAME. 8 7 MARRIED v. SINGLE (CRYSTAL PALACE). The Crystal Palace Club opened on May 5, with the usual match, in which the Married had it all their own way, owing mainly to the good cricket displayed by C. E. Smith, who was well supported by Gardner-Woolloton, Fergusson and Shorter, and to the fine bowling of Currey and Fergusson. For Bachelors Fitzgerald showed good form. The wicket was excellent.
