TWENIY-FOUB COLTS. The Surrey seasonwas brought to a conclusi«-.i with this match at the Oval on Monday and Tuesday. The eleven, except for'the absence of Messrs. Diver and Horner, were infull strength, and despite wet weather on both days, and a wicket consequently not in favour of good oricket, some very fine form was shown among the youngsters. Mr. C. T. Boiler, a younger brother of the amateur who has rendered such excellent service for Surrey, played really good cricket, and is sure to be of use to the county. English bowled well, and in all probability will have a trial next year. He took five wickets in first inning of Eleven for twelve runs. Cop pinger andHarrison, too, arepromising all round youngsters, who are not likely to be overlookrd by the Surrey authorities. Wood’s wicket- keeping for the eleven was much above the average. There was no extra in either innings of the eleven. C o lts . First Innings. Mr. J. N. Bush, c Wood, b Barratt..................................0 Coppinger, c Abel, b Roller.. 5 Osborn, c W.
