The Travellers, who are chiefly composed of old Stonyhurst and Oratory boys, were this year most successful in their annual tour in Lanca shire. The skipper (W. J. Sparrow) had got together avery good lot of cricketers, and notone defeat marred the enjoyment of the “ Bagmen.’ Staley, H. C. John, and Harwood did the bowl ing, and did it well. Black was in good form behind the wicket, and all fielded well, and at one time or another batted well. After a very pleasant time the team dispersed unbeaten, and hoping for similar luck next year, THE TRAVELLERS v. BURNLEY, Played at Burnley on August 28. TRAVELLERS v. PRESTON C. & GROUND.
