LORD SHEFFIELD’S ELEVEN. After three days of good cricket, Lord Shef field’s Eleven won this match at Sheffield Park on Saturday last. Chiefly through the good play of the captain and Mr. Gilbert, who con tributed 154 to a total of 249 from the bat, Dr. Grace’s side had an advantage of 35 runs on the first innings. Lord Sheffield’s eleven though when they went in a second time got the 203 runs wanted to win with the loss of only four batsmen, and thus gained a very creditable victory with six wickets to spare. In all 868 runs were got for 34 wickets, an average of 25J runs. Score and analysis : a XI. Second Inning3. M r . G r a c e ’ First Innings. Mr. W . G.
