WOOLWICH v. SANDHURST. Played at Sandhurst on Friday and Saturday, andWoolwich, chiefly through the fine innings of A. M. Streatfield, suffered defeat by six wickets. The feature of the match was the fine innings of Streatfield, who made one hundred and eigh teen, comprising one six, one five, fifteen fours six threes, two twos, and the rest singles. Du Cane, for Woolwich, batted well in their second venture, and made sixty-five, which in cluded six fours, six threes, and four twos; but his efforts were but poorly seconded by the rest of the team. Extreme nervousness characterised their play, and to this must in a great measure be attributed their easy defeat. First Innings. H.Bonham-Carter, b Mantell 7 J.P. Du Cane, c and b F. Cox 29 II. M.
