The Lancashire eleven did another good per formance inheating a strongish eleven of Maryle- bond Club at Lord’s, cn Tuesday, by ten wickets. On the first innings there was only a difference of nine runs in favour of the County, but excel lent bowling, backed up by fine all-round fielding on the second day, enabled Lancashire to have the advantage in the second “ hands,” and Mr. Hornby and Barlow once more did a sensational feat of batting, making 75 runs without the loss of a wieket. Crossland, it will be seen, only bowled three overs in the match. Nash, about whose delivery there is great difference of opinion, in M.C.C. second innings took the last four wickets in twenty-one balls ior five runs. M.C.O. & G. First Innings. Second Innings.
