TO TH E EDITOR OF “ CRICK ET.” S ir ,— As the question of the selection of the ileven to represent England against Australia will toon be under discussion, I beg to suggest an eleven vhich would be in every way well calculated to sustain the honour of England—Messrs. W. G. jrrace, C. T. Studd, A. P. Lucas, A. N. Hornby, A. j. Steel, E. F. S. Tylecote, W. H. Patterson, with Peate, Read, Barlow, and Morley. I have only named those men who have done Darticularly well against the Australians, and I should think no one would deny that it would be a •emarkably strong batting side, and it is also by no neans weak in bowling, including as it does no less ;han seven good bowlers in Peate, Barlow, Morley, jrace, Steel, Studd, and Lucas.—Yours truly, J ohn B ull . ^ T } I E : g C 0 ^ E v B 0 0 K ^ [Continued.)
