W ild ir n e s s e . — This annual match was played on Saturday in Wilder- nesse Park, Sevenonks, the seat of Sir Charles H. Mills,Bart., M.P. Wildernesse, 232(A. F.Kemp, 106 ; Lords and Commons, 61 and 132 for eight wiokets. N orfolk v. M.C.C. and G round . —The second annual week was brought to a successful conclu sion at Norwich on Saturday. Norfolk beat M.C.C. by 50 runs. Norfolk, 138 and 165 (L. K. Jarvis 42 and 75) ; M.C.C., 126 and 119 (G. B. Studd, 2 and 51). G ood B owling P erformances . —On July 29, W. Lambert, in a match on the Kilburn Ground, bowled six overs and four balls for three runs and eight wickets. He ac«omplished the hat trick. Five wickets were down for no runs, and the remainder only made seven. For Sefton Club v. Birkenhead T. Evans bowled 22 overs and three balls for 12 runs and eight wickets. G. Bird two overs for no runs and three wickets. The H arrow Wanderers Todr. —The conclusion of the match with Lascelles Hall on Saturday brought the tour of the Wanderers to a close. Lascelles Hall scored 265 (E. T. Hirst 156) and 257; the Wanderers 218. In the second innings of Lascelles H. Lockwood and Lum bputon 101 runs for the first wicket. During the fortnight six matches were played— one won, three drawn, one lost, and the other—the one-day engagement at Malton—terminating in a tie on the first innings. Mr. Henery headed the batting averages with 24.1, Mr. Webbe came next with 19.4, Mr. Paravieini third with 13.5, and Mr. Lucas fourth with 11. Mr. Webbe was the most successful bowler, taking 19 wickets, with an average of 8.12 ; Mr. Walker took 35, at an average of 11.7; and Mr. Lawson-Smith 20, averaging 17 . 12 . A U S T R A L I A v.
