The School had lost five wickets for 4(J runs in their second innings, when the heavy storm converted the wicket into a swamp, and made the bowling easy, an advantage which Bowden-Smith and Arnall were not slow to avail themselves of. These two put on so many runs that the Club could not hit them off before time was called. The Club had six more runs to get with five wickets to go down. R ugby S chool . First Innings.
