ICC Intercontinental Cup and Shield

Players As explained in the Preface, players’ names follow the format used on CricketArchive and, in a few cases, will therefore differ from how the players are commonly known in their own country. Alternative name forms and spelling are given where appropriate to aid identification. The country of the place of birth or death is given only if it is outside the country that the player represented. For players born in the British Isles only the county and not the country is given. Career details are given first for the matches played for the country under which the player is listed. These are followed, where appropriate, by matches played for other teams, e.g. an English county or an Australian state side. Affiliation to English county second eleven sides is only given if the player did not represent that county at first-class level. Matches are listed by status: first-class (FC), List A and main twenty20 (T20). List A matches are subdivided by format, e.g. one-day international (odi) and other (od). T20 matches are similarly subdivided into official internationals (it20) and other (t20). The affiliations of relatives are given only if they are not for the same country as the player concerned. Information on education and occupation is provided where known. Guide to abbreviations: b = born; d = died. rhb = right-hand batsman; lhb = left-hand batsman.
