The full score of this match, which escaped Epps, Haygarth, Ashley-Cooper and Waghorn, was discovered by Martin Wilson. It was reproduced in the ACS journal in March 2010, which is believed to have been its first appearance in print since its initial publication in the General Advertiser for 1 October 1778. Surrey had Miller as a given man. If the batting order is correct (and it looks very plausible), Bedster carried his bat in Surrey (1). 70
