Unfortunately they do not give a full score for Hampshire (2), although they note that Colchin took 3 in 5 balls and Aylward and Veck ‘got near 80’; since their scores add to 63, this implies that a large proportion of the 22 byes occurred during their partnership. These details are consistent with the score for Hampshire (2) in the Hampshire Chronicle , which is therefore accepted despite the normal reluctance to mix sources. 65
