A Spate of County Histories It was more difficult for statisticians to locate the detailed scores of Pakistan matches, even though these games did not commence until 1947- 48. Abid Ali Kazi was responsible for having these matches published in a series of five books, which cover matches up to 1974-75 and were printed between 1997 and 2003. Abid Ali Kazi with Nauman Bader were largely involved in the foundation of the Pakistan Association of Cricket Statisticians & Scorers. A similar organization had been set up in 1987 in India, publishing a Journal and other statistical material with Mohandas Menon and Vasant Naik as the leading members. 273
