The Encyclopedia of Australian Cricket was published in 1980. The author was a journalist Malcolm Andrews, who had been the editor of The World of Cricket (the monthly magazine which ran from 1973 to 1979). The encyclopedia was not very profound and really required someone of Rosenwater’s stature to fill the holes.
