186 Bibliography Newspapers The majority of the source material for this book was gathered from numerous Yorkshire newspapers published throughout the period from 1914 to 1920. In particular, I drew on the Yorkshire Post and Leeds Intelligencer , Yorkshire Evening Post , Hull Daily Mail, Sheffield Independent, Sheffield Daily Telegraph, Leeds Times and Shipley Times and Express. The papers were accessed via the British Newspaper Archive website.
