D E R B Y SH IR E v. N O R FO LK . The Derbyshire eleven had a very easy victory in this match, begun at D erby on Monday, winning early on Tuesday by an innings and 23 runs. This result was chiefly due to the good batting of Chatterton, D avid son and Sugg, and the effective bowling of Mr. Spofforth and Mr. W alker. In N orfolk’s second innings Mr. Spofforth got seven of the ten wiokets at a cost of only 26 runs. N o r f o l k . First Innings. Mr. W. R. Hoare, c F. Second Innings.
